ill never go back

I always used the usual green compound when I stropped my knives...Until I tried Deerwood's Ventures pale compound. I absolutely love it and will never go back to the green stuff. this leaves my knives so perfectly sharp. I immediately ordered more after my first use.

Sharpening Compound - Pale

I’ve only used it once on all my knives and gouges, etc. but it seems to work fine. I like the ease of use in applying the compound to the strop, goes on neater than powder I think. Gives a nice shine to the metal surface, very smooth for reduced friction. It also seems to work very fast. I havn’t used my tools since as I was preparing them for a carving demonstration, but I expect they will all work very well.

Some people call it sharpening compound, some people call it honing compound. Whatever you call it, this compound will keep you woodcarving tools razor sharp. No mixing and measuring, just work it into your sharpening strop and you are ready to strop. A fine blend of silicon carbide and aluminum oxide in a waxy crayon like mixture. This generous 3 ounce portion comes in an easy to open tin with a cover to keep your compound fresh.
