Kids love to carve, and I think they should have a quality carving knife to learn with. The Kids Carving Knife is made using the same W1 tool steel and techniques as my other carving knives, but designed specifically for younger carvers.
I've eliminated the pointed tip to reduce the chance of pokes and made the handle to better fit a child's hand. It's a real carving knife that lets kids learn proper carving techniques with a tool made for the job.
Adult supervision is always recommended when children are carving.

This blade is made with a slight secondary bevel on the cutting edge. This helps to exit a cut cleaner, increases the edge durability and simplifies sharpening. Note: lift back edge of blade slightly while stropping or sharpening to maintain bevel. |

PLEASE remember you are ordering a hand made knife, not something stamped out by a machine. As with any handmade item there are differences in the exact construction, therefore the knife may vary slightly from the photos shown. The wood handle you see in the photo may not be the exact color and figure pattern you receive. Photo may not be actual size, please refer to given dimensions.
Our blades have a near mirror finish. This allows the blade to move through the wood smoothly. There may be tooling marks still on the blade which do not affect the performance of the knife.

All Canadian orders: rates are calculated at checkout. Customer is responsible for any additional import/duty taxes. Yes we realize this is expensive and I wish we could make it less expensive. Orders can take 7-25 days to arrive after they have shipped so please be patient.
