A rugged durable knife for green woodworking, whittling and general wood caring. Made from D2 steel this blade is made to carve tough wood. Suitable for spoon carving, kuksa cup carving and more. 3 blade lengths and 3 different wood options for your handle. If you want to customize your own handle these are also available as a knife blank only.
|Knife Handle Length:||Handles are approx. 5-1/2 - 6" long. This can vary because each handle is individually hand shaped.|
|Handle Material:||Each handle is created out of North American hardwood. We do our best to find a highly figured piece of wood for each figured handle. The wood shown in the photo may not be the same handle material you receive.|
|Blade Material:||We use a sturdy D2 Flat stock steel for our Bushcraft knife. This steel is going to stay sharp for long periods of carving and hold up under rougher use circumstances.|
|Tang Length:||1-1/2 to 2"|
PLEASE remember you are ordering a hand made knife, not something stamped out by a machine. As with any handmade item there are differences in the exact construction, therefore the knife may vary slightly from the photos shown. The wood handle you see in the photo may not be the exact color and figure pattern you receive. Photo may not be actual size, please refer to given dimensions.
Our blades have a near mirror finish. This allows the blade move through the wood smoothly. There may be tooling marks still on the blade which do not affect the performance of the knife.
Each Sloyd knife is individually made and we make every effort to get your knife in the mail within 14 working days, this allows 4 days for shipping. So approximately 3 weeks, give or take a day or two. Please feel free to ask any questions before ordering: Send Us an Email
Awesome! One of the best carving knives I own!
Nice sharp blade, great for the rough cutting and some detailing.
Great product feels good in my hand. Great price for a quality knife.
I’m glad I bought the sheath too!
Very pleased, expectations were satisfied and I now have a knife that will not rust so readily due to D2’s higher oxidation resistance.
Great knife. I have been using it mainly on spoons and its very efficient. The high quality tool steel makes all the difference
The stuff he make are good quality products and worth every penny he charges.
